Grid Maker is a free, browser-based tool that splits any single image into a grid of Instagram-ready carousel posts, offering layouts from 3×1 to 3×6 with live preview and instant ZIP download — no account required.
Grid Maker is an online image splitter for Instagram that takes any uploaded image (JPEG, PNG, etc.) and divides it into multiple pieces matching Instagram's 4:5 aspect ratio. The tool runs entirely in the user's browser — images never leave the device — and outputs numbered JPG files (95% quality) bundled into a single ZIP file. It is developed by an independent team and hosted at gridmaker.org.
The process has three steps: (1) upload an image (under 20 MB) from your device; (2) choose a grid layout (3×1 to 3×6) and drag or zoom to position the image within the live preview; (3) download a ZIP file containing all grid pieces. Upload them to Instagram in reverse numerical order for a smooth reveal effect.
