Peektok

Free, no-login web tool that looks up public TikTok profiles, videos, and reposts from a username, profile URL, video link, or short link.

Introduction

Peektok is a browser-based TikTok viewer that reads publicly available TikTok profiles, videos, and reposts without a TikTok login, taking a username, profile URL, video URL, or vm.tiktok.com short link as input and returning the public result in seconds.

What is Peektok?

Peektok is an anonymous TikTok viewer that resolves public TikTok profiles, individual videos, and reposts from a single search box. You paste a handle (with or without the @ sign), a full profile URL, a video link, or a vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com short link, and it returns the public profile details, per-video engagement stats, and available playback. It runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile with no app install, and it is operated as a free, ad-consent-gated site at peektok.net. Private accounts, login-gated content, and restricted videos are explicitly out of scope — Peektok only reads what TikTok already shows to signed-out visitors.

Key Features
  • Anonymous profile lookup — Returns avatar, bio, follower counts, and recent videos for public accounts without attaching the lookup to your TikTok username.
  • Inline video playback — When playback is available, the video plays in your browser from the source-media host rather than a permanent Peektok copy; that host may receive ordinary request data under its own policy.
  • Per-video engagement stats — Views, likes, comments, and shares are shown for each individual video instead of only a lifetime account total.
  • Source verification link — Opens the original public post in your browser so you can confirm creator, caption, and context before relying on the result.
  • Broad input formats — Accepts @username, profile URLs, full video URLs, and vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com short links, recognized automatically.
  • No account, no install — No sign-up, no password, no app; it works in any modern desktop or mobile browser.
  • Five interface languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Chinese, with more planned.
  • Minimized query telemetry — Records a one-way input hash, input type, country code when available, cache status, and timestamp; the submitted handle or URL is not written to the query-events table.
Who should use Peektok?
  • Brands and agencies vetting creators: check follower count, recent video engagement, and posting frequency before offering a collaboration, without needing their own TikTok account.
  • Journalists and researchers: collect stats, thumbnails, and transcripts from public accounts without installing the TikTok app or signing in.
  • Anyone checking a shared link: paste a profile or video URL forwarded by someone else, review the available public details, and open the original post to confirm it.
  • Competitive researchers: look up several accounts in a row and compare follower counts, engagement rates, and recent posting frequency.
What can you do with Peektok?
  • Creator due diligence: pull a public profile's follower count and per-video likes, comments, and shares to estimate real reach before a paid partnership.
  • Link verification: resolve a vm.tiktok.com short link into a reviewable public post with its engagement numbers, then open the source to confirm the creator and caption.
  • Repost tracking: view the public reposts surfaced from a profile to see what an account is amplifying, without logging in.
  • App-free browsing: inspect a single video's stats and playback in a desktop browser instead of opening the TikTok mobile app.
How does Peektok work?
  1. Paste a TikTok username, profile URL, video link, or short link into the search box.
  2. Peektok requests the currently available public result from configured providers.
  3. Review the returned profile, video, repost, or engagement details and open the original post to verify the source.
Pricing

Peektok is free. The site states there are no paid tiers, no sign-up, and no hidden costs; searches are rate-limited by IP to prevent abuse, and if you hit a rate-limit error you wait a few minutes and retry.

FAQ
Will the account owner know I visited?

Peektok does not use your TikTok login, so the lookup is not associated with your TikTok username. It only supports public content available without a TikTok login. This is distinct from network-level privacy: ordinary web and media requests can still carry technical data such as an IP address, so a VPN is not required for username separation but is a separate privacy layer with its own tradeoffs.

Can Peektok view private TikTok accounts?

No. Only profiles and videos TikTok makes publicly accessible can be viewed; private accounts return no data, and login-gated or restricted videos cannot be retrieved. Public visibility is controlled by TikTok, the publisher, privacy settings, and regional restrictions, so a result that was available earlier may disappear and Peektok cannot restore it.

Does Peektok store my searches?

Peektok writes a one-way input hash plus limited operational fields to query telemetry rather than the submitted handle or URL, though the value is still processed to perform the lookup, and configured providers apply their own policies. It does not build user profiles from lookup history or sell query data; optional analytics loads only after you allow it.

It accepts TikTok usernames with or without the @ sign, full profile URLs, complete video URLs, and vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com short links, all recognized automatically. It works on any modern mobile or desktop browser with no app install.
