I got tired of building products nobody found. So I built a tool to fix that.
I've launched 3 SaaS products in the last 2 years. All of them got signups. None of them made money. The pattern was always the same: I'd spend months building, ship something decent, post it once or twice, get a small spike, then flatline. I told myself the product wasn't good enough. So I'd go back and build more features. That wasn't the problem. Distribution was.
The channels that actually work are miserable to do manually
If you've been around IH long enough you know the playbook: find Reddit threads where people are asking for your solution, jump in with a helpful reply. Get into newsletters. Land on listicles. Build backlinks through cold outreach. It works. The problem is it requires you to:
- Monitor dozens of subreddits constantly
- Manually find newsletters and blogs in your niche
- Write personalized outreach for every single one
- Do all of this while also building the product
Nobody has time for that. So it doesn't get done.
