LinkIntel

MCP server that feeds your own X post performance and X's open-source ranking code into the AI assistant you already use.

Introduction

LinkIntel is an MCP server for X (Twitter) content that feeds your own post-performance history and X's open-source ranking code into the AI assistant you already use, so drafts start from evidence instead of a blank page.

What is LinkIntel?

LinkIntel is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects to an MCP-compatible AI assistant and supplies it with content evidence — it deliberately does not write your posts. Once you connect your X account, LinkIntel records how your recent original posts perform every day (impressions, replies, reposts and bookmarks) and also reads X's open-source ranking code daily, flagging what changed with the commit as the receipt. Its output is a content brief the assistant can cite, returned through MCP tool calls such as list_references; your agent writes the copy and you keep the final say. LinkIntel is a paid web service signed into with Google.

What makes LinkIntel stand out?
  • Your own X results as the input — the assistant reasons about how your published posts actually performed rather than generic platform advice.
  • Daily reads of X's ranking code — LinkIntel reads X's open-source algorithm every day and flags what moved, with the commit as the receipt.
  • Evidence, not ghostwriting — the product returns performance data, public references and the limits of both; the writing stays with your agent and your voice.
  • No new writing tool required — it plugs into the MCP-compatible assistant you already work in, so nothing is copied between windows.
  • Optional public references — you can pull in a few public X posts to explore a new angle; they sit beside your own results and stay clearly separate from them.
  • Approval before storage — your assistant lists the public posts it is about to add and waits for your yes before a stored reference shapes future briefs.
  • Read-only X access — it never asks for your X password, never posts, and never searches X on its own; stored snapshots are deleted when you disconnect.
  • Daily snapshot cadence — metrics are captured once a day for the recent original posts on the connected account.
Who should use LinkIntel?
  • Creators publishing on X several times a week: they get a brief built from their own impressions, replies, reposts and bookmarks before drafting the next post.
  • Content practitioners and social media managers: they use it to see which formats and angles actually performed and to justify the next content decision.
  • Writers already using an MCP-compatible assistant: they add the server once and ask the assistant for briefs without leaving their existing workflow.
  • Solo operators who need to prioritise tests: they ask the assistant what is supported by evidence and what is still a guess before committing to an angle.
What can you do with LinkIntel?
  • Creators planning next week's posts: ask the assistant what the brief actually supports, then have it draft two opening angles from your measured post history.
  • Writers launching something unfamiliar: add a few public X posts as references so the assistant can explore a new angle, keeping them clearly separate from your own results.
  • Anyone deciding what to test next: ask what to test and what is still a guess, and get an answer that cites your performance data and its limits.
How does LinkIntel work?
  1. Sign in with Google and confirm the monthly amount in your browser before anything is charged.
  2. Connect X from your account page, or from the link your assistant offers after setup; metrics are then read once a day.
  3. Add the MCP connection to your assistant, or paste the one-line setup prompt from the example page and let the assistant configure it.
  4. Ask for a brief; the assistant calls LinkIntel, which returns your post performance, any approved public references, and the limits of both.
Pricing

LinkIntel is a paid plan at $39 USD per month, billed monthly in advance, with no free trial. Payment is required before your assistant can connect, Google sign-in itself does not charge you, and reference lookups are included with no per-post charge. A full refund is available within 7 days of the first payment, and you can cancel anytime with access continuing to the end of the paid period.

FAQ
Do I need a new AI writing tool?

No. LinkIntel is an MCP server that connects a content brief to the MCP-compatible assistant you already use, so you keep writing where you already work rather than opening another editor.

Does LinkIntel work with LinkedIn?

Not yet. LinkIntel starts with X; LinkedIn support is planned with no launch date announced. If you connected LinkedIn analytics before, that stays available as an optional source on your account page and remains separate from the X workflow.

Will it tell me what will go viral?

No. Selected examples can help you decide what to try, but they cannot prove a format causes better reach. The brief keeps source links, sample limits and freshness visible so your assistant can explain the basis for its suggestions.

Does LinkIntel post to X or need my X password?

No. It never asks for your X password, never posts, and never searches X on its own. It reads recent original posts and their metrics once a day, and stored snapshots are deleted when you disconnect.

When am I charged?

Google signs you in first without charging. The monthly amount is shown and you confirm it before payment; payment is required before your assistant can connect. If it is not for you, ask within 7 days of that first payment for a full refund.
