Upload a PDF CV or resume and get an assessment across 8 professional categories computed from 48 individual criteria: contact header, professional summary, work experience, education, skills, layout and visual design, language, and strategic positioning and ATS readiness.

Free vs. paid

• Free assessment: a verdict, a traffic-light band and issue count per category, one full strength and the headline of the highest-impact problem. The result arrives in about 60 seconds and needs no credit card. You can start without an account; a free account (Google or LinkedIn) opens and stores the result.
• Fix Report (one-time, from $4.99): the numeric 0-100 score per category and overall, every finding explained in plain language, rewritten before/after versions of the flagged passages, and one verification re-scan after you edit. Bundles: $12.99 for five unlocks, $29.99 lifetime. VAT included, never a subscription.

Honest by design

The full rubric, the score bands and the documented limitations are published on the methodology page. CV Score reviews the document itself: it does not simulate one specific employer's applicant tracking system, it does not rank you against other candidates and it does not predict interviews. Same input, same output - the scoring runs with deterministic settings so a re-scan is comparable.

Who it is for

Job seekers, career changers, graduates and experienced professionals who want an objective second opinion before they apply, plus non-native speakers who want their wording and structure checked. It is not a screening tool for recruiters and it does not write a CV for you.

Privacy and formats

CVs are used only for the user's own analysis, never for AI training, and can be deleted at any time (GDPR, processing in the EU). Input is a PDF up to 5 MB and 3 pages; scanned documents are supported via OCR. The website is available in 15 languages.
