The SVG Glitch Generator is a free, open-source web tool for adding real-time glitch effects to SVG text and images, outputting SVG, WebM, or GIF files.
The SVG Glitch Generator is a browser-based application that applies customizable glitch distortions to SVG text or uploaded images. Users type text or upload an image, adjust real-time parameters (speed, intensity, color separation, slices), and download the result as SVG (static vector), WebM (video), or GIF (animation). The tool is developed as an open-source project hosted on GitHub, with version 0.7.0 as of this writing.
Enter text or click the upload icon to load an image. The tool renders the input as SVG, then applies a fragment shader that randomly displaces horizontal slices based on the speed, intensity, separation, and slice count parameters. Preview updates in real time. Click download to save the current frame or animation.
