VersionDB

Technographic lead database that filters 50M+ websites by tech stack and contacts, then sells the matching rows as a one-time CSV export.

Introduction

VersionDB is a technographic and contact database with a Lead List Exporter: you filter more than 50 million crawled websites by the technologies they run and the contact details found on them, pay once for the number of rows you want, and the CSV arrives by email — no subscription, no credits, no account.

What is VersionDB?

VersionDB is a browser-based lead-list exporter built on a database of over 50 million websites. Each record stores the technology stack detected across a domain's pages — CMS platforms, ecommerce engines, JavaScript libraries, analytics, payments and marketing tools, with version numbers — plus traffic rank, server location and ASN, language, page title and description, and any email addresses, phone numbers and social profiles published on the site. You build a query in the Lead List Exporter, and the output is a 35-column CSV delivered automatically by email after Stripe confirms your one-time payment.

What makes VersionDB stand out?
  • Pay per row, once — pricing starts at 10 dollars for up to 500 rows, then 15 dollars per 1,000, sliding down to 0.60 dollars per 1,000 at volume, with no subscription or credit system.
  • 35-column CSV export — every row carries domain, discovery date, detected technologies and their versions, traffic rank, IP country, IP ASN, approximate country, language, page title and description.
  • Include and exclude tech filters — require one technology and exclude another in the same query, for example WordPress sites that are not running Yoast SEO.
  • Contact data split by type — emails and socials are classified as hosted, free or external, and as business or personnel, so you can filter for a personal address like name-at-domain instead of a generic info@ mailbox.
  • Social profile filters — select domains where a LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest or Reddit profile was detected on the site, a common proxy for finding decision makers.
  • Keyword search across domain, title and description — match all keywords to narrow to one niche, or any keyword in a list to cover a whole industry, such as roofing, landscaping, solar, pest control and plumbing in one export.
  • Freshness filter — the database spans multiple monthly crawls, so exports can be restricted to a specific discovery date range.
  • Free search before you pay — you see the matching row count first; the page shows an example query (US WordPress sites excluding Yoast SEO) returning 1,816,009,403 matching domains.
Who is it for?
  • B2B SaaS sales teams: build prospect lists of companies already running a competing or complementary tool, such as Shopify stores using Klaviyo, and export them as a CSV for outreach.
  • Agencies and consultants: find US businesses running WordPress without an SEO plugin, or WooCommerce stores, as prospects for specific service offerings.
  • Email and cold-outreach specialists: filter to personnel-hosted addresses rather than generic business inboxes so messages reach decision makers directly.
  • Data and growth teams: pull niche industry lists by keyword across domain names, titles and descriptions when no technology filter would surface them.
How does VersionDB work?
  1. Open the Lead List Exporter and set filters: required or excluded technologies, country, discovery date range, language, email type, social profile type, or keywords in the domain, title and description.
  2. Search for free to see exactly how many domains match before spending anything.
  3. Choose how many rows to export, see the price up front, and pay by card through Stripe.
  4. The CSV is generated and emailed automatically to the address given at checkout — typically within minutes; if it has not arrived within 24 hours, contact support.
Pricing

VersionDB is paid per export rather than by subscription. The published schedule is 10 dollars for up to 500 rows, then 15 dollars per 1,000 rows, falling as low as 0.60 dollars per 1,000 at volume. Searching and previewing match counts is free. Exports are non-refundable for change of mind, but the vendor covers two cases: a valid payment where the export does not arrive within 24 hours, and exports where the majority of rows do not match the selected filters.

FAQ
Do I need an account to use VersionDB?

No. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. You build your query, pay by card, and the CSV is sent to the email address you entered at checkout. Each export is a single purchase rather than an ongoing subscription, so you can buy again later without a stored login.

Can I filter for personal email addresses instead of generic ones?

Yes. Contact data is filterable down to the exact type: hosted versus free versus external, and business versus personnel. Filtering explicitly for personnel avoids results that only contain addresses like [email protected], returning named individual addresses instead.

Where does the data come from?

Every row comes from the website itself. VersionDB's crawler visits publicly accessible pages and records the technologies it detects plus contact details and social profiles published on those pages. Data is not bought, scraped or merged from social networks or data brokers, so a personal profile appears only because the site linked to it.

How current is the data?

VersionDB is refreshed with a fresh crawl every month, and the database spans multiple monthly crawls. A Freshness filter restricts exports to sites crawled inside a chosen date range, so you can exclude older records from the CSV.

Can I share or resell an export?

The license covers use within your own organisation, including sharing with colleagues. Redistribution outside your organisation is not permitted, and embedding or reselling the data requires a separate data-licensing arrangement.
