ToolIndex — free dofollow backlinks for SaaS and AI tools
ToolIndex is a free, publicly browsable directory of SaaS tools, AI products, and digital services. Every listing comes with a permanent dofollow backlink from a high-authority domain, and there's no review queue slowing things down — most submissions go live instantly.
Why founders list here
Most directories make you wait days or weeks for approval, or bury your listing behind a paywall for basic visibility. ToolIndex works differently:
- Free to list, with instant approval
- Permanent dofollow backlink from a DR 86 domain
- No review queue — your product is discoverable right away
- Upvoting and leaderboard visibility (Daily, Weekly, All-time), so active products keep surfacing
- Claim ownership of your listing to unlock an extended description, logo, screenshots, and more
What's inside
Products span categories from AI tools and developer utilities to marketing platforms, productivity apps, and directories themselves. Each listing includes a description, category tags, and a live upvote count, so visitors can quickly find what's actually getting traction versus what's just sitting there.
Built for real discovery, not just backlinks
Beyond the backlink value, ToolIndex is designed to actually get browsed: a prominent search bar, category filters, "New Today" and "Recently Launched" sections, and a "Startup of the Week" spot for the most-upvoted product each week. The goal is a directory that stays useful after day one, not a static list that goes stale the moment you're listed.
