AnswerLine is an API and MCP server for AI answer data.

AI assistants and generative search are now where buyers ask product questions. AnswerLine gives developers one endpoint to see exactly what these engines answer about a brand, product, or keyword.

What it does

Query ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Google Search, Google News, Google AI Overview, and Google AI Mode through a single API. Each response returns the full generated answer text plus structured citations and links, so you can measure which sources the model relied on and whether your brand is mentioned.

How it works

Send a prompt to the API, get back the engine's answer with citations. The MCP endpoint (https://mcp.answerline.dev/mcp) exposes the same tools to Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients, so an assistant can check its own answers without scraping.

Free tier for evaluation, then usage-based credits per engine. Google News queries run in about one second; heavier engines like Gemini use a managed provider pool.
