Tea checker is a paid, discreet lookup service that checks whether a user appears on the anonymous dating feedback app Tea, delivering verified results within 24 hours.
What is Tea checker?
Tea checker is a specialized tool that searches the Tea app — an anonymous platform where users share dating feedback — for mentions of a given individual. Users submit personal details such as name, photo, handle, city, age, or phone number, and receive a verified outcome of Found, Not Found, or Possible Match, often with redacted screenshots. The service is web-based, with results delivered via email within 24 hours. It is operated by an independent developer (identity not disclosed on the page) and has been discussed on Reddit's r/buildinpublic where some users confirmed its legitimacy while others warned of a scam mirror site at teachecker.app.
Key Features

Who is it for?
- Men who suspect they have been posted on Tea — Individuals noticing cold matches, cancelled dates, or odd questions from friends can use the service to confirm or rule out a Tea mention.
- People concerned about dating app reputation — Anyone who wants to know if anonymous feedback has been shared about them can get a discreet answer.
- Users who experienced a messy breakup — After an ex goes silent and dating app activity drops, a lookup can determine if negative feedback was left on Tea.
