Seed Audio AI is a browser-based AI text-to-speech workspace for converting scripts into review-ready voice audio drafts. It takes text input—such as narration, ad copy, podcast segments, or audiobook chapters—and outputs natural-sounding speech in MP3 format. The platform runs entirely in a web browser, requiring no software installation. Seed Audio AI is an independent product and is not affiliated with ByteDance, Seed, Volcengine, or official SeedAudio model releases.
The workflow follows four steps: 1) Paste or type your script into the editor. 2) Choose a voice from the library—browse by language, gender, and use case, and preview before applying. 3) Adjust delivery settings like speed, emotion tags, and pacing to match the desired tone. 4) Generate the audio, preview the result, download as MP3, or share a link. Saved settings and generation history allow easy iteration.
Seed Audio AI operates on a freemium model with free audio credits to start. Paid subscription plans are available: Creator ($99/year, 5,000 credits/month), Pro ($249/year, 18,000 credits/month), and Studio ($499/year, 50,000 credits/month). Yes, but only with audio you own or have clear authorization to use. Do not upload celebrity, public figure, or third-party voices without permission. Voice clone generation uses ~700 credits per minute.
Commercial use depends on your plan, the Terms of Service, and applicable law. If your project uses cloned voices, you must have permission to use the reference audio and review platform disclosure requirements.
Credits are calculated based on the duration of generated audio. Failed generations are not charged. Free credits are available for starters; paid plans and credit packs unlock more generation volume.
