FAQ

Do my files get uploaded to your servers?

No. PDF, Word, Excel, and photo EXIF reading all happen on your computer. Files never leave your machine. The only exception is OCR for scanned PDFs or images, which requires a server call — Renomee asks for your permission first, and you can decline.

Is the free quota actually enough?

The free tier is designed to be useful: 80 executed renames per day during the trial, then 60 per day after. Preview is unlimited; only actual execution counts against the quota.
