Pickpathly

The numbers a small warehouse runs on, for 3PL and in-house operators writing their own SOPs, reports and standards, and nobody else

Introduction

The 3PL warehouse management system that runs the pick path, sets the standard and keeps the record

A 3PL warehouse management system for the small third-party logistics operator and the in-house warehouse of a small distributor: the numbers a warehouse runs on, worked on the page from your own figures. Size the SOP pack a client account needs and the training it takes, build the weekly management report from orders, lines, labour hours, receipts and counts, price what a WMS costs over the first year, and set a labour standard that says how many pickers a day of lines takes. Free, no account. Pro keeps every client, SOP, report and standard on one record. Nothing here is an industry benchmark; every figure is yours.

Built for the numbers a warehouse runs on, on purpose

Pickpathly is not a freight platform, a 3PL directory or an enterprise WMS with a six-month implementation, and it is not going to become one. Every figure on every worksheet is there because someone running a small warehouse needs the SOP, the report, the cost and the standard to be right before a client reads them.

Size the SOP pack. Build the report. Price the WMS. Set the standard.
  • Every process for every client, counted before it is written. Five processes for three client accounts is 20 SOPs and 240 steps, and 12 people at four minutes a step is 192 hours of training, worked on the page before the first procedure is typed and before the client asks why onboarding took a month.
  • The week's figures the owner actually reads. 5,400 lines in 480 labour hours is 11.25 lines an hour and 3.75 orders an hour; 480 hours at $24 is $6.40 of labour on each of 1,800 orders; 392 clean locations of 400 counted is 98% accuracy. The report is the same every week, so the trend is real.
  • How many pickers a day of lines takes, as a count. 1,200 lines a day at 60 lines a picker hour is 20 pick hours, three pickers on an eight-hour shift at 85% utilisation, and $2,640 a week at $22 an hour. The standard is yours; the worksheet turns it into who is on the roster and what it costs.
The free tools

Every worksheet on this site computes on the page, free, with no account and no trial clock. The free version is the whole calculation; the paid plan is about keeping it: clients and their inventory, every SOP with its version and review date, every week's report against the last, the labour standard per process and per shift, your name on the paperwork and a clean export.

  • Warehouse SOP template: Size a warehouse SOP pack: processes and client accounts into SOPs and steps, the training hours it takes, and the reviews a year it commits you to.
  • Warehouse management reports: Build the weekly warehouse management report: orders, lines, labour hours, receipts and counts into lines an hour, cost per order, dock-to-stock and inventory accuracy.
  • Warehouse management system cost: Price a warehouse management system over its first year: the monthly fee, extra users, scanners and implementation into a first-year total, a monthly all-in and a cost per order.
  • Warehouse labor management system: Set a warehouse labour standard: lines a day and a picking rate into pick hours, the pickers a shift needs, the week's labour cost and the cost per line.
Pickpathly Pro

The worksheets are free forever. Pro turns them into the record: every client account with its SOPs, reports and standards kept and dated, every cycle count and week's figures filed against the client, your logo on the paperwork, no watermark, and an export when the client or the auditor asks. Pickpathly Pro is $79 per month for your whole warehouse, billed monthly.
