Palabra.ai is an AI-powered live voice translation platform that enables real-time communication in 60+ languages for video calls, events, streaming, and API integration.
Palabra.ai is a real-time speech translation platform built on a proprietary large language model (LLM). It takes live audio input from microphones, video calls, or streams and outputs natural-sounding translated audio or captions in over 60 languages. The platform is available as a web-based service with ready-to-use tools and as a streaming API/SDK for custom integrations. It is developed by Palabra AI, which received backing from Reddit co-founder's venture firm (TechCrunch, August 2025).
Palabra processes audio through three stages: Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) transcribes the source language, the proprietary translation model converts it to the target language, and Text-to-Speech (TTS) generates natural-sounding output with voice cloning. The entire pipeline is streamed via WebRTC or WebSocket, achieving under one second of total latency. Users can either use Palabra's ready-made tools (no code required) or integrate the API into their own applications.
