American Aquatics and Safety Training provides comprehensive lifeguard training, safety education, and emergency response certification programs designed to help individuals and organizations develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to respond effectively in aquatic and workplace emergencies. Our training programs include Lifeguard Training and Recertification, Waterfront Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Oxygen, Bloodborne Pathogens, Water Swimming Instructor training, Aquatic Supervisor training, and Lifeguard Instructor training. We also provide workplace Sexual Harassment Training to help organizations promote safer, more respectful, and compliant work environments. Each program is designed with practical, real-world applications in mind, helping participants understand how to respond during emergencies rather than simply learning information for an exam.
Courses are led by certified instructors and emphasize hands-on learning, practical skills, and emergency preparedness. Aquatic safety programs are aligned with the Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC), providing training that reflects established aquatic health and safety practices. Certifications are valid for two years, and applicable programs are designed to meet OSHA-related workplace safety requirements.
