LGTM is a morning newsletter for developers. It replaces the algorithmic timeline with a fixed list of people and a published standard.
The panel is 328 accounts, picked by hand for shipping real work in public. Everything they post gets read. A model then scores each post from 0 to 3 for substance: 0 for pure vibes, 1 for an opinion without support, 2 for a specific claim or firsthand detail, 3 for numbers, steps, code, or checkable evidence. The pass line sits between 1 and 2. Engagement counts for nothing.
Ten posts clear the bar on a normal day. They run in three sections: Techniques, Tools Worth Trying, and What People Are Building. We write one line on each post and link to the original, so the author gets the click. We never republish anyone's writing.
The dismissals are published too. Engagement bait, claims that everything has changed with no steps or numbers behind them, waitlists and teasers you can't try today, and arguments about which lab is winning all get cut. On a day when fewer than seven posts clear the bar, no issue goes out.
There is no paid tier. One sponsor slot per issue pays for the reading. We write it in the same plain voice and mark it clearly, and it never sits inside the ten. Subscribers can also read every past issue. There is no account to create.
