What is getALPHA?

getALPHA is a discipline-first trading journal and process-review tool built for MetaTrader (MT5) traders. Most trading journals grade the outcome — win or loss, profit or drawdown. getALPHA grades the decision instead: how the trade was sized, whether a real stop was placed, and how the exit was handled — judged against your own trading history, not a generic rulebook.

How it works

1. Connect — install a free, open-source MT5 add-on (getALPHA-Sync). It ships as fully readable source code, so you can check exactly what it does before it touches your account. It only ever sends data outward; no broker password ever leaves your machine, and nothing it does can place a trade.
2. Trade — every closed position on your MT5 account syncs automatically, in the background, with no manual entry. Because nothing is typed in by hand, nothing in the journal can be quietly flattered after the fact.
3. Review — see your P&L, risk taken, planned reward, and win rate computed straight from your own record. On the Pro plan, an AI-written review judges five dimensions of how you actually traded that session, sourced entirely from your logged history.
