Continuing education management software that works the course, the instructor and the credits as figures
Continuing education management software for the small provider that runs licensed-profession and certificate courses: the course, the cohort, the enrolment, the credit, the certificate, the fee and the instructor's pay on one record, worked on the page from your own figures. The course margin from seats, price, discounts and the instructor, venue and materials cost; the instructor's pay from contact hours, prep time, a rate and on-costs; the credits a course issues from contact hours, the board's ratio, learners and completion. Free, no account. Pro keeps every course, cohort, enrolment, credit, certificate, fee and payment against the learner and the course, and exports the audit file. Nothing here is a board's rule; every figure is yours.
Built for the numbers behind a course, on purpose
Enrolvo is not a course marketplace, an enterprise LMS, a school information system or a software agency, and it is not going to become any of them. Every figure on every worksheet is there because someone running a continuing-education provider needs the margin, the instructor's pay and the credits to be right before the cohort starts.
Price the course. Pay the instructor. Issue the credits.
- Revenue, cost and margin before the cohort opens. 20 seats at $300 with a 10% discount is $5,400 of net revenue; $850 of instructor, $300 of venue and $10 a seat of materials is $1,350 of cost; the margin is $4,050, 75% of net. Worked on the page before the early-bird price is announced from memory.
- Pay per course, with the prep time and the on-costs in. 16 contact hours with half an hour of prep for each is 24 paid hours; at $45 an hour that is $1,080, and with 12% on-costs $1,209.60 per course, $3,628.80 a month over three courses, $75.60 per contact hour. The rate and the on-costs are yours.
- Credits issued and certificates due, from the board's ratio. A 16-hour course at one contact hour per credit is 16 credits per completer; 20 learners at a 90% completion rate is 18 completers, 288 credits issued, 18 certificates due and 32 credits not earned. The ratio is the board's; the record keeps who earned what.
The free tools
Every worksheet on this site computes on the page, free, with no account and no trial clock. The free version is the whole calculation; the paid plan is about keeping it: courses and cohorts with their dates, enrolments with their fees and discounts, credits and certificates per learner, instructor pay per course, and the audit file a state board or an accreditor asks for.
- Education accounting software: the course margin: Work a course's money: seats, price, discounts and the instructor, venue and materials cost into gross and net revenue, cost, margin and margin as a share of net.
- Payroll for education: the instructor's pay: Work an instructor's pay: contact hours, prep hours per contact hour, a rate and on-costs into paid hours, pay per course, cost per course and per month, and cost per contact hour.
- Continuing education LMS: the credits issued: Work a course's continuing-education credits: contact hours, the board's ratio, learners and completion into credits per completer, completers, credits issued, certificates due and credits not earned.
