Independent AI agent comparisons for ecommerce, scored on difficulty, evidence quality and the gap between a demo and a working setup.

EcomAgentTools is an independent directory of AI agents, skills and prompts for ecommerce operators, built for people who have to make a decision this week rather than people browsing for software.
Listings are organised around the job a tool does inside a store, not around the vendor's own category. The areas covered run from market research and product selection, through product content and copy, store experience and conversion, marketing and acquisition, customer service and retention, supply chain and fulfilment, and data and profit decisions, to automation and integration. That structure exists so an operator can start from the problem they actually have and work outward, instead of starting from a list of brand names.
Every entry is scored against a rubric we publish in full on the site. It covers difficulty to adopt, evidence quality, and the distance between a product demo and a working setup. Alongside the score, each listing sets out what the tool needs from the rest of your stack, where the setup is most likely to break, what permissions and data it expects, and what a team should understand before handing it real work.
We care more about limits than highlights. Most review sites tell you what a tool can do. We would rather write down the conditions under which it stops working, who has to be involved, and whether a mistake can be recovered. Those are the parts an operator actually pays for.
Ratings from merchants start at zero and only move once somebody has actually rated a tool, so a high score reflects use rather than a marketing budget. Entries are written and reviewed by people who have run stores: a Shopify operator who pressure-tests tools against margins, permissions and failure costs, and a product researcher who studies why the same tool helps one operator and stalls another, then turns that difference into levels a team can decide against.
EcomAgentTools is available in English and Chinese, so teams can compare the same listings in either language.
