Browsely is an AI-powered browser extension that runs on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, and Brave. It takes web page content as input and produces summaries, rewrites, answers, and action items through an on-page sidebar, link previews, and text selection tools. Developed by the Browsely team, the extension uses OpenAI GPT-5 (as of August 2025) and is designed to be privacy-friendly by processing data locally unless explicitly sent.
Browsely is freemium. You can get started for free, and paid tiers may offer additional features (not specified on the page).
Currently, Browsely supports Chrome and Edge. Support for Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Brave is in development.
As of August 2025, Browsely uses OpenAI GPT-5. Future updates will add support for Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity models.
Browsely prioritizes quality, stability, and ease of use over a large feature set. Its goal is to feel like a native part of the browser rather than a separate app.
