2048 Cupcakes is a browser-based collection of themed puzzle games built around the familiar mechanics of 2048.
The idea is simple: slide the tiles across a 4×4 board, combine matching tiles, and keep going as each merge unlocks the next level. Instead of using only numbers, the games use visual themes and character progressions to make each stage easier to recognize and a little more playful.
The collection currently includes three games:
All three games share the familiar 2048 rules, so there is almost no learning curve if you have played 2048 before. Use the arrow keys or WASD on desktop, or swipe directly on the board when playing on a phone or tablet.
The games run entirely in the browser and do not require an account, installation, or download. Your board, score, best score, and other basic game progress can be stored locally in the current browser, allowing you to leave and continue later.
2048 Cupcakes is designed as a lightweight game site rather than a single one-off puzzle. The goal is to keep the original 2048 experience simple while experimenting with different themes, artwork, and visual progressions.
The site is available in English and Simplified Chinese and works across desktop and mobile browsers.
