Flag Tone is an interactive world flag color guessing game that turns flag recognition into a visual memory challenge. Instead of asking players to identify a country, Flag Tone hides a color region from a real flag and asks players to rebuild that color using intuitive HSL sliders.
Players adjust hue, saturation, and lightness while watching the flag preview update live. This makes every guess feel tactile and visual: a small slider movement can shift the color from “almost right” to “way off.” Once the player submits, the game compares the guessed color with the actual flag color using Delta E, a perceptual color-difference score that reflects how close the match looks to the human eye.
Each run contains five fast rounds, making Flag Tone easy to start and fun to replay. With 200+ world flags, shareable result cards, no account required, and pure browser-based gameplay, it is a simple but surprisingly challenging game for geography fans, designers, students, color nerds, and casual players who want to test how accurately they remember the colors of the world.
