DDMarketer mines public complaints from Reddit, HN, GitHub, Stack Exchange, Trustpilot, app stores and forums, then scores each recurring one 0-100 for commercial intent. Free MCP server lets your coding agent query the corpus, no API key.

DDMarketer turns public complaints into validated software opportunities.
It reads Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, Stack Exchange, Trustpilot, app store reviews, product forums and X, then runs a six-stage pipeline: prefilter the obvious noise, deduplicate so one loud thread does not look like broad demand, classify with two LLM passes (the first confirms it is a real software-shaped problem, the second extracts the opportunity and what people currently do instead), score for commercial intent and confidence, and clear an editorial gate before anything publishes.
The deduplication is the part that matters. One thread with 200 upvotes is one person's problem amplified 200 times, not 200 people with the problem. Frequency across distinct authors and independent sources is the real signal, and that is what the scoring ranks.
The part most people use is the MCP server. Your coding agent can already build almost anything, so the bottleneck moved to deciding what to build. Three tools need no API key and no account: search_gaps (find validated gaps by keyword), get_top_gaps (this week's highest commercial-intent opportunities) and validate_idea (score an idea you already have against the complaint corpus). The validator returns a weak verdict when it only finds loosely related complaints, instead of pretending a near-miss is validation.
Every published gap ships with the raw evidence: the complaint, its source, and the score breakdown. Complaint volume is not demand, so the corpus narrows where to look; you still have to talk to people. There is a paid tier for the full dossier per gap (MVP scope, pricing, competitors, risks, validation playbook). The free weekly Top 10 and the MCP tools work without it.
