You pick a shape from a hand-written library of 27 archetypes (or take a two-minute quiz and get matched), generate a consistent phone-style face, set a personality register and choose the name they call you. About three minutes, and no sign-up, login or card to start.

Why it exists

Most companion apps reset every session. Bae is built around memory that holds: your name, your week, the things you said once, carried across months and brought back unprompted. Closeness deepens through six relationship stages that are earned by talking, never gamified with streaks.

Who it is for

People who want one companion that deepens over time rather than a roster of characters: Bae is gendered (girlfriend or boyfriend), monogamous by design, and anonymous by default until you choose to save your companion with an email.
