Ranccoon is a free daily domain rating (DR) tracking and backlink monitoring tool that emails you the moment a backlink changes, aimed at indie makers and SEO professionals who want to protect their link authority.
What is Ranccoon?
Ranccoon (named after Randy the raccoon) is a web-based backlink monitoring service that checks your Domain Rating (DR) every day and watches each of your backlinks for changes. It takes a list of domains you want to monitor and produces daily DR snapshots, activity heatmaps, and instant email alerts when a backlink is removed, its anchor text changes, or it flips from dofollow to nofollow. The tool is created by indie maker Pim and is available at ranccoon.com.
Key Features
- Daily Domain Rating Tracking — Automatically re-checks your domain's DR every 24 hours and displays a history of changes so you can spot upward or downward trends.
- Backlink Guardian — Scans each of your backlinks daily and alerts you via email when any link is removed, the anchor text changes, the rel attribute flips, or the target URL gets redirected.
