PayToPin is a public leaderboard for startups and products where rank is decided by one thing: how much has been bid on each listing.
There are no votes, no algorithm and no editors picking favourites. Every price is public, and anyone can see exactly what it costs to take any spot. To reach #1 you bid just above the current leader, and if your product is already on the board you only pay the difference between your new bid and what you've already paid — you're never charged for the full amount again.
The board has 25 categories, from AI agents and developer tools to fintech and real estate, and each category has its own ranking, so a small startup can lead its niche for a few dollars instead of competing against every product on the site. There's also a daily ranking that resets every 24 hours, so newer or smaller players get a fresh shot at visibility even if they can't outbid the all-time leaders.
Listings start at $5. There's no account to create and no login — whoever pays for a listing owns it, and updating your bid is as simple as resubmitting with a higher amount. Each product gets its own page with its logo, a short description, its current rank, and a link straight through to the site.
The idea is to strip away everything that usually decides visibility — reviews, algorithms, who you know — and replace it with one transparent number anyone can check. If you want the top spot badly enough to pay for it, it's yours until someone else wants it more.
