What Kalen is
Kalen is an X (Twitter) assistant you connect to the AI you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code. He runs as an MCP server, so you plan your posts in a normal chat instead of another dashboard.
How it works
Every day Kalen researches your niche on X: the day's top posts for your keywords, the trends, and every week the most popular posts of the accounts you look up to and your own best posts. When you ask for posts (for example "Plan my X posts for next week with Kalen"), he hands your AI a briefing of what works and your open time slots. Your AI writes the posts in your voice.
Kalen then scores every draft from 0 to 100 against what works in your niche and your own best posts, says why a weak draft is weak, and your AI rewrites it, up to three rounds. The goal is a pass mark with a mix of formats, not one number.
Nothing goes out without your yes
Once you approve in the chat, Kalen schedules the posts and publishes them on X through the official X API at the times you picked, including a first reply that carries your link. A web queue shows what goes out and when, and lets you cancel anything.
Pricing
Starter is $29 a month (20 posts a day, 2 link posts a day) and Pro is $49 a month (4 link posts a day). There is no free plan because X charges for every post published through its API.
