ihateimg.cv is a collection of 58 free image tools that run entirely in your web browser. Your images are read into memory on your own device, processed there and downloaded back. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
That changes a few everyday jobs. An iPhone photo in HEIC becomes a JPG without sending it anywhere. A photo can be compressed to an exact size in KB for a job or exam portal. Location data and other EXIF details can be checked and removed before a picture is shared.
The tools are grouped in nine categories:
- Convert: HEIC, WebP, AVIF, PNG, JPG, PDF and more.
- Compress: by quality or to an exact file size.
- Resize and crop: sizes for social media, centimetres or millimetres, circle crops, borders, collages.
- Privacy: EXIF viewer, metadata remover, GPS extractor, face blur, redaction.
- Watermark: single images or in bulk.
- GIF and animation: make, resize, compress and convert GIFs.
- Developer: favicons, app icons, OG images, colour palettes, SVG optimiser, sprite sheets.
- Social and fun: memes, screenshot beautifier, text on image, filters, passport photos.
- Exam forms: photo and signature sizes for application forms.
Every tool is free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no file-count limit. The page has to load once, so it isn't fully offline unless the browser has cached it.
