Convertilo is a free collection of browser-based tools for everyday file work. Everything runs on your own device: images, PDFs and audio are processed locally with WebAssembly codecs, so your files are never uploaded to a server and there is no sign-up.
Image tools: compress JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and HEIC, convert between formats, resize, crop, round corners, add a watermark, remove a background, strip EXIF metadata, make a GIF, and compress an image down to a target size such as 200 KB for forms that limit uploads.
PDF tools: merge and split documents, rotate or delete pages, reorder pages, compress a PDF, convert pages to images and convert Office files to PDF.
Text and utilities: word and character counters, case converters, number-to-words, a QR code reader and generator, translation that works in the browser, plus calculators for percentages, dates, paint, tiles and more.
Why people use it: it is fast because nothing waits for an upload, it is private because files stay on the device, and it works on desktop and mobile in any modern browser. The pages explain each format, typical file-size limits and what quality is lost, so you can pick the right setting instead of guessing.
Convertilo is built by one developer and grows by user requests. Each tool has its own page with a short explanation, so you can find exactly the conversion you need, for example HEIC to JPG, PNG to WebP or PDF to images, and finish in a few seconds without installing anything.
