Alarm Arcade: Beat the Clock is an iOS alarm app that turns off only after you complete a short mini-game, ensuring you wake up fully instead of snoozing half-asleep.
Alarm Arcade transforms the wake-up experience by requiring users to play and win a mini-game—such as memory match, mental math, shake, tilt maze, reaction grid, Simon says, typing, swipe pattern, or pattern draw—before the alarm stops. It takes a regular alarm setting as input and produces a guaranteed awake user as output. The app runs on iOS and is developed by an independent creator (no company name listed).
Set an alarm as usual through the app. When it rings, the app presents a mini-game (either randomly selected or based on your difficulty preference). You must complete the game—by matching pairs, solving math, shaking the phone, etc.—before the alarm turns off. There is no snooze option; the game must be won.
Pros: Guarantees full wakefulness; works offline with no account; variety of games prevents monotony; no snooze loops. Cons: Only available on iOS; games may feel frustrating for some users in the morning; free version has limited missions and sounds.
